Risk Manager

Our client, an Alternative Investment Management Company, is seeking a skilled Risk Manager to strengthen their risk management framework and drive innovation within a growing, data-led environment. You’ll take ownership of key risk processes, support their closed-ended as well as an Evergreen fund structure, and contribute to the continuous improvement of risk controls, reporting, and governance.

Your Responsibilities

• Oversee daily risk monitoring across liquidity, market, operational, credit, and counterparty risks.
• Lead liquidity oversight for the Evergreen fund, including stress testing and investor flow analysis.
• Evaluate portfolio exposures and investment restrictions.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports for internal stakeholders, regulators, and the Board.
• Enhance risk dashboards and drive automation using BI tools and data analytics.
• Monitor regulatory developments and update risk policies accordingly.
• Support internal and external audits, maintaining strong control standards.
• Collaborate closely with Legal, Finance, and Portfolio Management teams.

Your Profile

• 5–8 years’ experience in Risk Management within an AIFM, asset manager, consultancy, or financial institution.
• Strong understanding of AIFMD, ESMA guidelines, CSSF circulars, and EU regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in liquidity risk management and Evergreen/open-ended fund structures is a plus.
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Risk Management, or similar.
• Confident user of Excel, Power BI, and SQL databases.
• Analytical, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
