Please send your CV and cover letter to ****** Head of Hardware & Firmware Function Mission As the Head of Hardware & Firmware, you will hold total technical leadership over our full hardware solution.

You are responsible for the entire lifecycle of Reckon.Ai's hardware—from initial PCB conceptualization and firmware architecture to industrial-scale production.

Your goal is to ensure our hardware acts as a robust, scalable, and software-integrated platform that guarantees industrial reliability and operational excellence in the autonomous retail space.

Key Responsibilities Full-Cycle PCB Architecture: Lead the end-to-end design process, including schematic capture, component selection, PCB layout (multi-layer), prototyping, and hardware validation.Firmware Excellence: Architect and develop robust firmware in C/C++ (STM32/ESP32).

Implement low-level drivers, smart power management, and fault-tolerance mechanisms (watchdogs, auto-recovery) to ensure 24/7 "always ON" stability.Software & Platform Synergy: Define technical contracts between firmware and software.

Ensure full support for telemetry, remote diagnostics, and secure OTA (Over-the-Air) updates .

Industrialization & NPI: Lead the transition from prototype to mass production (New Product Introduction).

Work directly with production lines to optimize assembly and resolve technical bottlenecks.Mechanical & Thermal Integration: Collaborate with mechanical engineering to align electronic design with physical constraints, including heat dissipation, durability, and material synergy.Technical Roadmap Ownership: Manage hardware project timelines and budgets, including BOM (Bill of Materials) optimization and sourcing of electronic components.

Technical Requirements Experience: 10+ years in electronic hardware development with a focus on industrial electronics and EMI/EMC compliance.Core Skills: Expert-level PCB design (KiCad or equivalent), analog/digital circuit design, and signal integrity.Firmware Mastery: Deep proficiency in C/C++ for microcontrollers and integration of communication stacks (I2C, SPI, UART, Modbus, Wireless).

Product Vision: Proven track record in taking complex electrotechnical products from lab prototypes to the factory floor.
