Role Overview:

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (Software Engineering Background) to join one of our biggest clients, a large-scale organization operating in the logistics and digital services sector, with a strong focus on technology-driven solutions and internal platforms that support multiple development teams.

This project is part of a strategic initiative to build and evolve an internal developer platform, improving developer experience, productivity, and standardization across the organization. Hybrid model – in-office presence once a week

What you will do:

• Lead the development and evolution of the internal developer platform based on Backstage

• Create and maintain application skeletons to accelerate project kick-offs

• Develop, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions

• Build and improve developer tooling, workflows, and automation processes

• Support and advise development teams on CI/CD and DevOps best practices

• Continuously improve developer experience in close collaboration with DevOps and platform teams

What you are like:

• Degree in Computer Science or a similar field

• Strong background in software engineering, ideally with Java or C# experience

• Hands-on experience with Backstage or strong skills in TypeScript and Node.js

• Solid experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions, and a strong understanding of CI/CD concepts

• Experience with automation, scripting (Bash, Python), and Infrastructure-as-Code

• Familiarity with modern software development practices and DevOps principles

• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills

• Comfortable working in corporate environments (e.g., proxy constraints)

• Fluent in English (mandatory); German is a plus
