Role: AWS Cloud Engineer

Key Contributions

• 5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, covering all components involved in AWS migration within a typical organization.
• Practical knowledge of core AWS services such as EC2, IAM, RDS, S3, VPC, monitoring and backup design.
• Act as a cloud advisor for Coforge clients.
• Serve as a hands‑on SME for migration initiatives.
• AWS Professional Solutions Architect certification.
• Deep knowledge of AWS public and hybrid cloud architecture.
• Experience managing phased migrations from on‑premises data centers to the cloud, including discovery, assessment, migration, validation and operational support.
• Experience optimizing performance and cost in cloud environments.
• Hands‑on experience with database migration tools for SQL, Oracle and other database engines.
• Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS cloud service models.
• Practical knowledge of AWS DevOps practices.
• Experience migrating applications from IaaS to PaaS and SaaS models.
• Experience designing cost‑efficient compute, storage and networking solutions in AWS.
• Experience implementing disaster recovery solutions in cloud environments.
• Experience managing compliance requirements such as tagging, configuration standards, vulnerability remediation, hardening, AMI creation and patching.
• Experience defining enterprise‑grade VPC architectures with Direct Connect and VPN.
