We expect you to be fluent with AI-assisted development tools and genuinely curious about pushing AI capabilities further — whether that's improving Davy's accuracy, building new AI-powered features, or rethinking how we architect our AI platform.

We are B2B2C modular SaaS platform, powered by AI. Across ~40 different modules we are heavily relying on various integrations (payments, smart-locks, marketplaces) and AI. As the leading Tenant Experience platform in the Nordics, we reach more than 450,000 households - approximately 20% of all rental tenants in Sweden.

Having proven product-market fit in the Nordics we are now embarking on an exciting growth journey and as we are evolving our Product & Technology organization we are looking for experienced AI Software Engineer who wants to help bring our platform to the next level.

Role Description

As a AI Software Engineer at Avy, you will play a crucial role in delivering our AI solutions to our customers and end-users.

Our teams work in a cross-functional, product-led, agile environment where tech, product and design collaborate closely.

This role requires deep technical expertise and problem-solving mindset.

In this role you would:

• Evolve our custom agentic framework — designing cognitive architectures for multi-step tenant support workflows, tool use, and context management
• Improve and scale our RAG pipeline — chunking strategies, embedding model selection, retrieval quality, re-ranking
• Work with our vector database (Qdrant) and LLM integrations to improve accuracy, latency, and cost
• Build evaluation and observability systems — measuring AI quality, detecting regressions, monitoring error rates in production
• Explore and integrate new AI capabilities across the platform — from intelligent insights and anomaly detection to predictive features on top of our data platform
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to decide where AI adds real value vs. where simpler solutions win

Qualifications

• Production experience building AI/ML systems — not just notebooks, but deployed, monitored, maintained systems
• Strong understanding of LLM application patterns: RAG, agentic architectures, prompt engineering, evaluation
• Strong communication skills in English (Swedish is a plus but not required)
• Strong production experience with Go/Golang — this is our primary backend language
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservice architectures, and event-driven design
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure also relevant) and containerized deployments
• Comfort with relational databases (PostgreSQL), caching (Redis), and messaging systems (Pub/Sub, Kafka, or similar)
