3D Game Animator (Unity)

We’re looking for a 3D Animator with strong experience in character rigging, animation, and hands-on implementation in Unity to help bring characters and environments to life across PC and mobile platforms.


This is a long-term contract position. The role is 100 percent remote, but the team works aligned with CET working hours, so availability during CET business hours is required.


You will work closely with designers and engineers, owning animation work end to end, from rigging and animation creation through to implementation and iteration in engine.

What you’ll do
  • Create and implement character rigs for humanoid characters
  • Produce high-quality character animations such as locomotion, idles, interactions, and transitions
  • Implement and iterate on animations directly in Unity
  • Work with animation controllers, blend trees, and state machines in engine
  • Create lightweight environmental animations such as trees, foliage, props, and signage
  • Optimize animations and rigs for real-time performance on PC and mobile
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and design to ensure animations feel great in gameplay
  • Troubleshoot and refine animation, rigging, and implementation issues throughout development
What we’re looking for
  • 5+ years of professional experience in 3D animation
  • or participation in at least 2 shipped titles with humanoid animation work (portfolio required)
  • Strong experience in character rigging and humanoid animation
  • Proven experience implementing animations in Unity
  • Solid understanding of animation fundamentals such as timing, weight, motion, and readability
  • Experience optimizing assets for real-time game engines
  • Ability to create clean, efficient rigs suitable for production environments
Nice to have
  • Deeper experience with animation state machines, blend trees, and controller setups
  • Experience with both stylized and realistic animation styles
  • Basic understanding of technical art pipelines
