Fullstack Web Developer
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) 3 days onsite
Salary: $70,000 – $94,000K
Overview
We are seeking a Fullstack Web Developer to join a collaborative, cross-functional team building modern, cloud-based applications.
This is a great opportunity to work in an Agile environment using Node.js, React, and AWS, while continuing to grow your technical skills. You’ll be part of a supportive team focused on delivering high-quality solutions and continuous learning.
What You’ll Do
- Develop backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
- Build and maintain React-based frontend components and pages
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and best practices
- Write and maintain unit tests to meet coverage standards
- Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and QA teams
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
- Manage and support AWS cloud resources in a secure and efficient way
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in web application development
- 1+ year experience with Node.js / TypeScript
- 1+ year experience with React / Redux
- Strong understanding of:
- Debugging and troubleshooting
- Code optimization and refactoring
- Version control and branching strategies
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, ECS, CloudFormation, IAM)
- Exposure to AI/LLMs (e.g., Amazon Bedrock)
- Experience in the financial services industry
