Site Manager – Demobilization Project (Oman)

Overview

Prismecs is seeking an experienced Site Manager – Demobilization Project (Oman) to lead and manage all site execution activities during a major plant shutdown and demobilization project.

This role is project-based (estimated 2–4 months) and we are hiring locally within Oman for immediate mobilization.

The Site Manager will be responsible for full site leadership across Electrical, Mechanical, and Logistics scopes, ensuring safe shutdown, efficient dismantling, and proper material handling while maintaining strict compliance with HSE and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Site Leadership & Execution

• Lead and manage all site demobilization activities across Electrical, Mechanical, and Logistics scopes
• Plan, control, and monitor daily site execution, sequencing, and work fronts
• Ensure alignment across multiple teams, supervisors, and subcontractors
• Drive productivity, resource utilization, and adherence to schedule

Shutdown & Demobilization Management

• Ensure safe shutdown, isolation, and dismantling activities (PTW / LOTO)
• Oversee dismantling of:

• MV/LV electrical systems, transformers, DC systems
  
• Mechanical equipment, piping, and auxiliary systems
  

• Ensure proper tagging, tracking, packing, and dispatch readiness of materials
• Manage execution sequencing and coordination across disciplines

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with discipline supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors
• Interface with client representatives, QA/QC, and HSE teams
• Lead daily site meetings, reporting, and issue resolution
• Ensure clear communication across all project stakeholders

HSE & Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, risk assessments, and site procedures
• Enforce PTW and LOTO systems across all activities
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure safe execution of high-risk work

Reporting & Control

• Monitor progress, performance, and key project milestones
• Track material movement, reconciliation, and logistics coordination
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and project close-out readiness

Qualifications

Required:

• 10–15 years of experience in:

• Power plants / energy sector
  
• EPC / construction / shutdown projects
  

• Proven experience as Site Manager / Construction Manager (MANDATORY)
• Strong hands-on field leadership experience
• Demonstrated experience in shutdown, demobilization, or large-scale installation projects
• Strong knowledge of:

• PTW, LOTO, and HSE standards (OSHA / IEC / NFPA)
  
• Multidisciplinary coordination (Electrical / Mechanical / I&C)
  

• Ability to manage high-risk activities, tight schedules, and multiple teams
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

Additional Requirements

• Must be currently based in Oman (local hiring only)
• Available for immediate start
• Available for project duration (2–4 months)

Preferred

• Middle East project experience
• Experience with demobilization planning and execution sequencing
• Familiarity with material reconciliation, packing lists, and logistics coordination
