Role and Responsibilities

• Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team
• Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications
• Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools
• Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API
• Be a part of entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post launch support
• Refactor, optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale
• Interface with customer and internal teams to gather requirements and develop software solutions
• Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues
• Document the development process, architecture, and standard components
• Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serves as liaison between development staff and project manager
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development

Skills & Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in frontend development using Core PHP
• Experience working with MSSQL (required)
• Experience in PHP,HTML5, CSS3, JS, JQuery, Bootstrap, Ajax, Restful API (any framework)
• Experience with AngularJS or ReactJS is plus
• Familiarity with modern PHP frameworks like Laravel / CodeIgniter
• Understanding of REST API design and third-party API integrations
• Knowledge of web security standards and best practices (OWASP)
• Experience with version control systems like Git is plus
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS / Azure / GCP is plus
• Experience in JIRA/Confluence is an advantage
• Must be able to work under pressure and towards deadlines
• Good communication skills.
