This role is adapted from the structure and expectations of your earlier design JD, but refined for a junior-level UI/UX Designer with stronger visual design capability and relevance to the current AI-enabled design environment.

Role Summary

• We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer with 1-3 years of experience to join our team in Pune.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in visual design, website and landing page layouting, and basic user experience principles.
• This role requires someone who can contribute as a visualiser, meaning the person should be able to convert a creative brief, brand direction, or reference into compelling digital concepts and polished interface designs.
• The candidate should be comfortable working on website pages, campaign landing pages, digital assets, and UI layouts, while collaborating with design leads, developers, content teams, and account managers. Familiarity with modern AI-assisted design workflows will be an added advantage.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Visual Design and Creative Execution
  
  

Create visually strong and brand-aligned designs for websites, landing pages, microsites, and digital interfaces.

Develop page mockups, section designs, banners, and visual concepts based on project briefs.

Contribute as a visualiser by exploring multiple design directions and converting ideas into polished layouts.

Ensure all designs maintain strong visual hierarchy, typography, colour balance, spacing, and overall composition.

• UI/UX Design Support
  
  

Prepare wireframes, screen layouts, and interface structures based on business and user requirements.

Apply basic UX principles to ensure clarity, ease of navigation, and usability.

Design layouts that support customer journeys, call-to-action visibility, and responsive behaviour across devices.

Create designs that are responsive, mobile-friendly, and optimised for different screen sizes.

Work under the guidance of senior team members to continuously improve design quality and user experience.

• Design Tools and Workflow
  
  

Use Figma for wireframing, visual design, prototyping, and collaborative reviews.

Follow established design systems, style guides, and brand guidelines.

Maintain well-structured and organised design files for internal collaboration and development handoff.

Use AI-assisted tools, where relevant, for concept exploration, design ideation, and creative acceleration under team guidance.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  
  

Work closely with UI/UX leads, developers, content teams, and project stakeholders.

Understand project requirements and incorporate feedback in a timely and effective manner.

Support smooth design-to-development handoff by preparing clear and implementation-friendly files.

Participate in design reviews, internal discussions, and project meetings as required.

• Quality and Consistency
  
  

Ensure consistency in design execution across screens, pages, and digital assets.

Maintain attention to detail in layout structure, content alignment, and responsive design behaviour.

Follow basic accessibility and usability best practices.

Deliver work within timelines and quality expectations.

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in UI design, visual design, web design, or digital creative design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating work in website design, landing pages, campaign layouts, or digital interfaces.
• Prior visualiser experience is important for this role.
• Good working knowledge of Figma.
• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and digital user journeys.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  
  

Must-Have Skills

• Strong visual design sense with good understanding of typography, layout, spacing, colour, and composition.
• Experience in creating website layouts, landing pages, and digital design mockups.
• Good understanding of responsive and mobile-friendly design for websites, landing pages, and digital interfaces.
• Ability to work as a visualiser and generate creative design directions from a brief.
• Good proficiency in Figma.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools such as Lovable, Google AI Studio, Claude, or image generation tools.
• Basic understanding of UI components, user flows, and screen structure.
• Ability to interpret brand guidelines and apply them consistently across designs.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  
  

Good-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Exposure to design systems and reusable UI components.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for better coordination with development teams.
• Understanding of accessibility-friendly design practices.
• Prior experience in agency, digital, or Martech environments.
