About The Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our client’s dynamic engineering team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-growing technology business that is at the forefront of innovation. The ideal candidate will have a deep expertise in React and React Native and be comfortable taking ownership of core frontend features, working independently, and delivering complex projects from conception through to deployment. This position involves developing and maintaining web and mobile applications, collaborating closely with backend teams, and supporting deployment processes across Azure environments. The role provides a challenging yet rewarding environment for a proactive developer eager to make a significant impact on product development and user experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience working with React in a commercial setting.
• Extensive experience with React Native, including delivering mobile applications to the App Store.
• Proficiency with Next.js is essential for this role.
• Experience with Expo is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of MSAL and authentication flows within frontend applications.
• Hands-on experience working with Azure cloud services, including deployment and environment configuration.
• Experience developing or integrating with Node.js microservices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to project management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications using React and Next.js, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Create and support mobile applications using React Native and Expo, ensuring seamless user experiences across platforms.
• Take ownership of key features from initial concept through to production release, including App Store deployment and updates.
• Design and implement robust frontend architecture, including integration layers with backend APIs and microservices.
• Manage authentication flows utilizing MSAL, ensuring secure and efficient user authentication processes.
• Collaborate closely with backend development teams working on Node.js microservices to ensure smooth integration and data flow.
• Support deployment, configuration, and environment management across development, staging, and production environments using Azure cloud services.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and implement best practices for frontend development.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate new technologies and methodologies to improve product quality and development efficiency.
