Scrum Master - Airline / Aviation
Job Description:
Agile Delivery & Team Support
• Facilitate all core Agile ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
• Guide teams on Agile/Scrum best practices and ensure continuous improvement.
• Remove impediments and coordinate with onshore/offshore teams for smooth delivery.
• Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder & Product Collaboration
• Work closely with Product Owners, business analysts, architects, and airline SMEs.
• Ensure team delivers high quality increments aligned with business priorities.
• Track dependencies, risks, and issues; manage cross team coordination.
• Serve as the primary Scrum contact for onshore client stakeholders.
Project Governance & Reporting
• Track and publish Agile metrics: velocity, sprint burndown, release burn-up, team health.
• Support release planning and stakeholder demos.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory needs (e.g., aviation security guidelines).
Required Skills & Experience
• 3–5+ years as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
• Strong experience in airline/aviation domain (minimum 2–3 years).
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence.
• Strong communication, conflict-resolution, and servant-leadership skills.
• Understanding of SAFe, Kanban, and DevOps practices is a plus.
