Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our client's team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and designing .NET Core Web APIs, along with experience in SQL Server, AWS, Kafka, and solution architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain .NET Core Web APIs using C#.
• Design and implement scalable, high-performance solutions in an Agile environment.
• Handle SQL and NoSQL databases, and manage database schema using Liquibase.
• Work on API integrations and contribute to architecture design.
• Contribute to frontend development with React, Next.js (basic knowledge), and Typescript/JavaScript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Utilize AWS and Kafka for cloud-based solutions and event-driven architectures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5-8 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in Web API development.
• Strong expertise in .NET Core, C#, SQL Server, AWS, and Kafka.
• Exposure or experience in solution and architecture design.
• Basic knowledge of Next.js, React, and Typescript/JavaScript.
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, and schema management using Liquibase.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
• Hands-on experience in API integrations.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication.
• Experience in the banking domain is a plus
