Urgent requirement of Mobile Test Engineer - Perm/ Contract - Melbourne

Requirements
- Must have mobile experience Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for mobile applications (iOS & Android).
- Must perform functional, UI/UX, regression, compatibility, performance, and network testing.
- Work closely with developers, product owners, and designers to identify defects early in the SDLC.
- Develop and maintain mobile automation scripts using tools like Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.
- Validate API responses and integrate API testing into mobile test workflows.
- Test across multiple devices, OS versions, screen sizes, and network conditions.
- Ensure release readiness through thorough testing and quality gating.
- Monitor crash reports, analytics, and real-device performance logs to detect issues proactively.
- Experience 3–7 years of experience in mobile application testing, Android & iOS.
- Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, mobile UI components, and platform guidelines.
- Hands-on experience with mobile testing tools: Manual: BrowserStack, Firebase Test Lab, Charles/Fiddler for network debugging Automation.
- Good understanding of Agile methodology and QA processes. Ability to analyze logs, crashes, and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Good to Have Experience with performance testing e.g., JMeter, Gatling for backend + mobile perf tools.
- Knowledge of mobile security testing basics. Experience with React Native/Flutter application testing.
- Exposure to test reporting and dashboards Zephyr, JIRA, QMetry, TestRail.
