You will be working in a mature, enterprise-scale environment that places a strong emphasis on security, availability, and operational excellence.
Your new role
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be part of the Network Operations team, supporting the design, delivery, and ongoing operation of centrally managed enterprise network services. This role has a strong hands-on focus and will see you working across BAU, project, and managed activities, ensuring reliable and secure connectivity across on-premises, data centre, and cloud-connected environments.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Strong hands-on experience across enterprise networking, including routing, switching, and network security in complex on-premises and cloud-connected environments
- Experience supporting multivendor network technologies, including HPE, Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and F5
- Proven experience supporting enterprise WAN services, carriage circuits, and connectivity to public cloud platforms such as Azure
- Experience operating within an ITIL (or equivalent) service management framework, covering incident, change, problem, capacity, and availability management
- A strong understanding of Federal Government security frameworks, including the ISM and PSPF
- The ability to translate business and operational requirements into reliable, secure, and high-performing network outcomes
- Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain NV1 security clearance
