Software Test Engineer

B.E.S. (Business & Engineering Solutions) is growing and thus welcoming new Software Test Engineer in our Automotive team.

As a Software Test Engineer at B.E.S., you will enjoy a collaborative environment where you will work closely with others in an organisation focused on innovation.

This position is part of an international automotive environment focused on the development and validation of BEV-related software features. The role involves close collaboration with Powertrain teams across Europe and Japan, contributing to prototype integration, performance evaluation, and continuous improvement within an Agile framework.

Your responsibilities :

• Develop BEV dynamic tips according to requirements and in alignment with exchanges with Powertrain divisions in Europe and Japan
• Integrate software into 24MM prototypes
• Evaluate the performance of changes on prototypes in HiL environments and on the vehicle
• Support the Powertrain department in their development activities
• Participate in regular Agile meetings and report on progress

Your profile :

• Experience in Embedded C++ development
• Strong proficiency with tools and practices such as Git, C++, CMake/Bazel, Bash, debugging and testing, Boost/STL, and basic networking concepts
• Ability to work autonomously in complex technical environments
• Experience working in Linux environments
• Knowledge of HiL and vehicle validation, including:
• Adjusting electronic layouts
• Working with containers (Docker), with the ability to learn and adapt if needed
• Using remote access tools (RPC, NoMachine, SSH), with the ability to learn and adapt if needed
• Basic or theoretical knowledge of Flutter UI development and related technologies:
• Flutter, Rust, Protobuf/Cap’n Proto, Android
• Strong analytical mindset, ability to work in Agile teams, and good communication skills in an international environment
