Front-End Developer

Turnit is looking for a Front -End Developer who's moved past the beginner stage and is ready to grow with a team that values collaboration, continuous learning, and thoughtful problem-solving.

Turnit is a traveltech company developing passenger transport ticketing software for train and bus industry companies all around the world. Our solution is used by industry leaders around the world- in the USA, UK, Norway, Sweden, Lithuania, etc.

You will work on user-facing applications that transport operators rely on daily-from booking interfaces to management dashboards. The work is varied, technically interesting, and genuinely impacts how people travel.

We would be excited if you would match the following

• Solid experience with modern JavaScript and at least one major framework (React preferred, but Vue, Angular, or Svelte work too)
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
• Familiarity with WCAG accessibility guidelines and a commitment to building inclusive UIs
• Experience working with REST APIs and understanding how frontend connects to backend services
• Comfortable using version control (Git)
• Detail-oriented-the small things matter to you
• Ability to break down problems into manageable pieces before jumping into code
• Experience in AI coding assistants effectively and understand what they produce
• Ability to involve teammates in decisions and value their input
• A self-learner who actively seeks out new knowledge and applies it
• Clear communication skills and are not afraid to ask questions
