Game Level Designer

CrazyLabs is a top 5 mobile games publisher with over 6 Billion downloads to date, a worldwide leader in games development, distribution, and innovation. We are looking for a Game Level Designer to join our team and work on exciting new Hybrid Casual Puzzle games!

Our ideal candidate should be a gamer with previous experience creating and maintaining successful and fun mobile games!

What you will be working on

• Design and balance appealing puzzle levels, missions, and experiences from concept, to creation using internal tools.
• Design the structure and the order of levels to create an ideal progression for the player.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts to understand level performance through analytics and adjust levels accordingly.
• Adjust and modify designs and the game levels based on game metrics, team input, internal/external playtests, and community feedback
• Working with a talented and cross-discipline team to grow the product by adding new levels while also continuously improving the existing game experience.
• Communicate design clearly and concisely with the team and throughout the studio
• Inspire the agile and multidisciplinary game team through progressive & creative design

What we’re looking for

• A consistent 3+ years track record of (relevant and released) Casual and/or Hybrid Causal Puzzle games.
• Profound insight into the level balancing, pacing & difficulty tuning
• Solid problem-solving abilities and critical thinking
• Independent, self-motivated, driving new initiatives to improve the game.
• Strong empathic ability to understand and “feel” our target audience
• You embrace F2P and enjoy working with KPIs and analytics to adjust your designs in data-driven decisions
• Learning and applying collected player feedback
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
• Proficiency in data spreadsheets and working with analytical and technical tools
• Ability to work with remote teams
• Deep passion for games
