As part of the Operational Performance team, you will work with data analysts, data scientists and user researchers to improve performance and decision-making across commercial, product and content topics.

As part of the Operational Performance team, you will work with data analysts, data scientists and user researchers to improve performance and decision-making across commercial, product and content topics.
Data analysts at Deezer have a key role to elevate data culture and to make sure any strategic decision is based on the right data-driven insights :
- They identify problems and implement solutions based on data that will fuel Deezer’s growth
- They shape data-informed product and business strategies
- They communicate results and influence key business and product leaders
- They keep an open and growth mindset in order to continuously develop new methodologies, analytical skills and business acumen.
- Work closely with product managers and business stakeholders to understand their vision and challenges
- Conduct data-driven and product-oriented analyses to build product and business recommendations that help stakeholders make the right decisions (Ex : do customization strategy have a positive impact on engagement and retention ?)
- Run A/B tests to statistically assess the impact of an initiative (product change, user segmentation, conversion / upsell entry point…)
- Translate large, complex datasets into well-structured and insightful analyses
- Build your own data pipelines: from the logs to the final dataset using Python, SQL, Airflow
- Design, build and maintain data visualizations and dashboards to make product usage data accessible, and easily understandable
- Collaborate closely with Data Science and User Research teams.
- Maintain and enrich our Product Tracking Plan
- Constant technical upskilling with experts on tech, data, dataviz, methodologies
- Being part of the improvement of our environment (POCs on various tools, exploration of new approaches…)
- Gain a 360 vision of our product and business, thanks to the combination of analytics, data science and user research
- Build business cases
- Exposure to top management on strategic topics
Must have:
- 1 year of experience in a similar or other relevant position involving solving complex problems
- Curious: hunger for learning
- Tenacious : being ready to tackle complex problems with insights and analyses, at the crossroads of tech, product and business
- Good presentation skills
- Strong team player attitude
- Proficient in SQL or equivalent
- Fluent in English
- A business-oriented mindset
- Data Visualization skills (e.g. Tableau, etc.)
- Familiar with Airflow
- Affinity with the music industry :)
