DevOps Engineer (f/d/m)

For our European Headquarters in Frankfurt am Main area (Offenbach) we are looking for a:

DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for an experienced professional to take ownership of our middleware and CI/CD landscape. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and operating key CI/CD and middleware platforms such as Jenkins, Argo CD, Nexus, APM, GitLab, and related tools. You will ensure stable operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of middleware components supporting our business systems, including the brand website. In addition, you will lead and continuously improve the CI/CD setup, working closely with operations and project teams to provide guidance, best practices, and technical direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the middleware systems up to date with latest security patch/upgrade
• Administrate, integrate and migrate the Common Application Servers where necessary
• Administration of customer eco systems for brand website
• Develop innovative, reusable Web-based tools when user raise requests while keeping it under the company IT policy
• Technical lead for middleware applications
• Create and maintain software documentation (manual, process documents, etc.)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant professional experience
• Experience and understanding of working in a multinational environment
• Strong application development background with Java, JSP, JavaScript, and RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, or similar)
• Solid hands-on experience with Linux environments, networking, infrastructure, and APM tools
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• More than 3 years of experience with middleware and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, SonarQube, JFrog, Argo CD, or similar
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD configuration and Git-based workflows
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing Web Services (REST, SOAP, gRPC, etc.)
• Experience with CDN management and operations
• Ability to independently handle SSL-related tasks, including installation, renewal, cipher configuration, certificate conversion, and troubleshooting
• Experience with VMware is a plus Natural problem solver with experience using open-source technologies
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Strong sense of teamwork and collaboration
• Excellent written and spoken English, with strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
