🚀 Team Lead – AVEVA PI Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Team Lead with strong AVEVA PI (OSIsoft PI) expertise to join a growing team delivering industrial data and digital transformation solutions.

This role will combine hands-on technical delivery with team leadership, supporting the design, implementation, and ongoing development of real-time data infrastructure while building and mentoring a high-performing team.

💼 The Role

You will play a key role in delivering AVEVA PI System solutions across a range of projects, enabling data-driven decision-making and operational insights within complex industrial environments.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement AVEVA PI System components:
• PI Data Archive
• PI Asset Framework (AF)
• PI Vision
• Interfaces and Connectors
• Integrate PI with SCADA, DCS, PLCs, and other OT/IT systems
• Develop and maintain PI AF models, analytics, and hierarchies
• Design and deploy PI Vision dashboards for operational and business users
• Support system upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting
• Ensure data governance, quality, and security across the PI environment
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions
• Provide training and documentation to users and support teams
• Support project lifecycle activities including planning, testing, and commissioning
• Lead and develop a team to support ongoing project delivery

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
• 5+ years’ experience working with AVEVA / OSIsoft PI System
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• PI AF
• PI Vision
• PI Interfaces & Data Archive
• Experience integrating industrial systems (OPC, Modbus, etc.)
• Experience in a regulated pharmaceutical environment
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

⭐ Desirable

• AVEVA PI certifications
• Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python, VBScript)
• Exposure to analytics platforms or data historian technologies
