Product Owner / SAP COE Lead (S/4HANA Transformation)

A large, complex organisation is entering the next phase of its SAP S/4HANA transformation and is seeking a Product Owner / SAP COE Lead to shape, build and lead a modern SAP capability.
This is not a traditional SAP management role.
It’s a transformation leadership position focused on moving from a project-driven model to a product-led, business-aligned SAP Centre of Excellence (COE).
You’ll play a central role in turning SAP into a trusted, high-value platform that the business actively chooses to use.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the design and build of a modern SAP Centre of Excellence, including operating model, governance, and standards
- Own and drive a business-aligned roadmap and prioritised backlog, focused on measurable outcomes
- Position SAP as a trusted, business-facing platform, not just a technology function
- Establish strong stakeholder relationships, building confidence and engagement at senior level
- Drive a product-led, pull-based model, where demand is driven by business value
- Introduce agile and multi-speed delivery models, improving speed to value
- Lead, coach and evolve a team into a high-performing, product-oriented capability
What We’re Looking For
- Proven leadership in SAP environments (ideally S/4HANA) in a Product Owner, Product Lead, or similar role
- Experience building or transforming a COE / shared services function
- Strong track record of owning roadmaps, backlogs, and delivering measurable business value
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive adoption across complex organisations
- Experience moving teams from traditional delivery to agile / product-led models
- Comfortable leading technical teams without needing to be deeply hands-on
