Azure DevOps Engineer - Terraform & Kubernetes - permanent & contract roles

We’re partnering with a high-growth organisation seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer to help design, build, and scale cloud-native infrastructure using Azure, Kubernetes, and Terraform. This role is mainly remote and open to permanent and contract options

You’ll play a key role in shaping a modern DevOps environment, enabling engineering teams to deploy faster, more securely, and at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure on Azure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Build and manage Kubernetes clusters (AKS) in production environments
• Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions)
• Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of applications
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve release velocity and reliability
• Implement observability, logging, and alerting (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor)
• Ensure security best practices across cloud and DevOps processes
• Support incident management and continuous improvement of platform stability

Required Experience

• 4+ years in a DevOps / Cloud Engineering role
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Proven experience managing Kubernetes (AKS) in production
• Strong experience with Terraform (IaC best practices, modules, state management)
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred)
• Solid understanding of containers (Docker)
