Software Engineer – React/Java – SaaS- Amsterdam-Hybrid (90k) (DUTCH)

As a Senior Full Stack Developer at my client, you will play a key role in building a modern, scalable platform that supports thousands of entrepreneurs in simplifying their financial administration.

With a strong frontend focus, you will take ownership of the user experience while still contributing to a solid backend foundation. You will join a compact, high-impact development team where your work directly shapes the product.

The role

You will work in a team of 5 developers on a recently redesigned architecture, focusing primarily on building new features rather than maintaining legacy systems.

In this role, your focus will be 70% frontend (React) and 30% backend (Java, Spring Boot). You’ll develop and enhance the customer-facing platform, improve performance and usability, and contribute to backend services where needed.

You will collaborate closely within an Agile team, contribute to sprint delivery, write clean and scalable code, and uphold high engineering standards through code reviews and test automation.

Technical skills

• Strong experience with React (primary focus)
• Solid backend experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience working in a full stack environment (70/30 split)
• Familiar with APIs, SQL, and modern development practices
