Lead Platform Engineer - AI IoT Platform - Rotterdam - up to 100K plus equity

One of the most promising NL based scale-ups is hiring a talented platform engineer. My client is already winning tenders from established global tech businesses (Software AG, Siemens etc) in the IoT space. With a small team of engineers they manage to out-compete huge engineering departments of their competitors. I guess this illustrates that this lean and mean A team are able to engineer an insane advanced IoT platform.

The technical founder is looking for a platform engineer that is eager to take ownership on all cloud and infra related responsibilities, since he needs more time to work on strategic goals with the complete team.

Core skill set evolves around setting up, scaling and maintaining distributed data infrastructure:

• Linux, AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, Java, Python, Terraform & Ansible;
• Next to this you do not mind to code, or are keen to improve your coding skills;
• Bonus if you have experience with embedding AI functionality within the cloud and on prem infrastructure;
• The passionate engineer that we are hiring for should have an agnostic mindset on technology, but strongly focused on automation;
• You have a holistic view on software and platform / infrastructure.
