iO Associates are currently partnered with an innovative company operating in the fast-growing space sector, specialising in nanosatellite technology and mission solutions.

They are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their engineering team, working on the development of flight software for cutting-edge satellite missions. This is a hands-on role with involvement across the full project lifecycle, from early design through to in-orbit operations.

Key Experience

• Strong embedded C development experience
• Experience with micro controllers and RTOS (e.g. FreeRTOS)
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART
• Experience with version control (Git)
• Background in embedded systems within a high-reliability environment
• Experience in space or similar industries
• Python or C++
• CAN bus or embedded Linux
• Testing/debugging with lab equipment
