Data Analyst

Job Summary:
Syncdit is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team and drive data-informed decision making. This role is within a dynamic IT sector environment focused on leveraging data to support strategic business objectives. The Data Analyst will collect, process, and analyze large datasets, develop and optimize interactive dashboards, and apply advanced statistical methods and data modeling techniques to forecast outcomes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and ensuring data accuracy and governance are key aspects of this position. Responsibilities:
• Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate complex data findings to diverse stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and deliver tailored analytical solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency through rigorous validation, quality control, and strict adherence to data governance standards.
• Apply advanced statistical methods and data modeling techniques to forecast outcomes and support the optimization of business strategies.
• Support the implementation and enforcement of data governance and compliance policies across the organization.
• Continuously research, evaluate, and integrate innovative analytical tools and methodologies to enhance data analysis capabilities and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative discipline
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in data analysis or a comparable analytical role
• Proficiency in Claude Code is a must
• Strong expertise in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R
• Experience with data visualization platforms including Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent software
• Solid understanding of statistical methods and data modeling techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights
• Effective communication skills for presenting findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
• Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and practical applications
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Fluency in English; additional language proficiency is considered an asset
