Role Overview

You’ll join a high‑impact Group Information Security function with the mandate to influence senior stakeholders and drive meaningful change from HQ.

What Makes This Role Different

  • Operates at an international enterprise scale with real operational and outage risk
  • Authority to set DR and service continuity standards globally
  • Encourages a modern, next‑gen mindset – scripting, automation, smarter tooling
  • Contract → Permanent with long‑term scope
  • Ideal for candidates from consultancy / advisory backgrounds looking to own delivery

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and champion Disaster Recovery and Service Continuity for enterprise IT services
  • Define and maintain global DR standards, toolkits and control requirements
  • Review infrastructure, architecture and operational processes through a resilience lens
  • Provide clear risk and outage impact overviews to IT and security leadership
  • Drive improvements in DR readiness, recovery objectives and testing
  • Act as the authoritative voice for DR governance across the organisation
  • Support application and infrastructure security assessments and risk reviews
  • Contribute to and enhance the global security training and awareness programme
  • Introduce automation, scripting and modern approaches where they add value

The Profile We’re Looking For

  • Driven analyst mindset with confidence to take ownership and responsibility
  • 2–4 years’ experience in enterprise DR / Service Continuity environments
  • Strong understanding of risk management, outages and resilience trade‑offs
  • Comfortable reviewing architecture and infrastructure, not just documentation
  • Experience working in large, complex or globally distributed organisations
  • Exposure to or background in consultancy or advisory roles is highly valued
  • Interest or hands‑on experience with scripting / automation (e.g. Python, PowerShell)
  • Strong communicator, able to challenge constructively and influence stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in IT, Cybersecurity or related field
  • Security or resilience certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, EDRP are a plus
  • Working knowledge of ISO27001, ISO22301, GDPR or similar frameworks
