Contract Senior Project Manager

This role offers the opportunity to lead and drive high-profile digital projects in a dynamic, remote-first environment. You will take ownership of end-to-end project delivery, ensuring client satisfaction while collaborating with cross-discipline teams including design, engineering, QA, and account strategy. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, you will manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and risks while providing senior-level strategic guidance. The role balances autonomy with structured support, allowing you to shape processes and drive innovation across multiple projects. Accountabilities

• Serve as the day-to-day Project Manager for assigned projects, overseeing scope, timelines, and deliverables
• Lead client meetings, demos, status updates, and iterative scope management with senior-level ownership
• Track project progress, budget burn, and risks, escalating and mitigating issues proactively
• Ensure high-quality deliverables by coordinating cross-discipline teams and enforcing rigorous QA processes
• Lead discovery engagements to define project requirements and align deliverables with client objectives
• Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and expand account value through strategic input
  
  

Requirements

• Extensive experience delivering enterprise-level CMS-based web projects, ideally in an agency setting
• Practical understanding of WordPress or similar platforms is preferred
• Proven client-facing experience, serving as the main contact for requests, escalations, and senior consultation
• Track record of mitigating project risks and driving collaborative solutions
• Strong leadership of cross-functional project teams, keeping members motivated and on-task
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, capable of navigating complex discussions
• Ability to balance autonomy with structured processes in a fast-paced, remote environment
