Job Title: Investment Reporting Business Analyst

Location: Geneva, Switzerland (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Job Description:

• Minimum of 7 years' experience as a Business Analyst in the financial reporting domain.
• Excellent knowledge of various analysis methodologies.
• Strong expertise in designing and leading workshops, capturing requirements and mock-ups, identifying user personas, and effectively managing complex topics with diverse participants.
• Excellent knowledge of wealth management professions, as well as investments and financial products. Knowledge of portfolio construction, investment processes, and risk management.
• Knowledge and practice of Agile methodology (Scrum).
• Analytical and conceptual thinking skills, ability to solve problems.
• Autonomy and ability to independently analyze data from different systems.
• Very good organizational skills, good stress resistance, and ability to manage priorities.
• Very good command of SQL query languages, as well as tools for accessing databases.
• Experience with APIs, including the use of JSON, XML, Postman, and Swagger.
• Higher education in Computer Science (University, HES, Federal Diploma, EPF) or equivalent qualifications.

Business & Domain Expertise:

Strong knowledge of financial industry (Front Office preferred), including

• Financial instruments (bonds, equities, derivatives)
• Transactions & positions
• Portfolio valuation & performance
• Portfolio construction & management
• Trading workflows
• Investment reporting (client reporting)
• Regulatory reporting (also acceptable background)

Investment reporting mainly refers to:

• Portfolio breakdown (asset class, currency, geography)
• Performance attribution & contribution
• Market commentary
• Client-facing mandate reporting

Responsibilities

• Participate in formulating client requirements, analyze them, and draft the detailed functional specifications needed for our developers.
• Support and assist the IT teams based in Geneva throughout the various project cycles.
• Ensure the proper integration of the solutions under your responsibility into the bank's overall information system by performing FATs/integration tests.
• Support and coordinate the testing phases with end users.
• Provide level 3 support in the event of production incidents.

Level 3 Support

• Responsible for solutions and processes implemented.
• Acts as the last support level before the business.
• Understands system processes end-to-end.
• Able to investigate issues using:
• SQL (queries, joins, data extraction)
• APIs (understanding API concepts, JSON payloads)
• Tools like Postman (or similar API clients)
