Service Manager - Kafka

At Tata Technologies we make product development dreams a reality by designing, engineering and validating the products of tomorrow for the world’s leading manufacturers. Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Service Manager - Kafka, to strengthen our team in Gothenburg.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure as code solutions using tools such as Crossplane, Azure Cloud and Ansible.

• Enable infrastructure provisioning through GitOps & declarative infrastructure.

• Automate deployment, scaling, and management of infrastructure resources.

• Ensure security and compliance standards are met in all infrastructure configurations.

• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, implement optimizations, and ensure high availability.

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in enterprise integration patterns and cloud computing.

• Drive automation at the infrastructure level (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, pipeline-based operations)

Knowledge/Experience

• At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer/Developer.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Crossplane and Ansible.

• Proficiency in Integration platforms (Kafka, IBM MQ)

• Strong proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

• Strong proficiency in programming language (e.g., Java (Spring boot), Go programming).

• Utilization of Azure cloud services.

• Container based application development (Docker & Kubernetes).

• Proven experience of DevOps principles and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment via GitHub Actions.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
