PMO Manager at atNorth
As a PMO Manager you will help strengthen how projects are governed, supported, and prepared across Development function. You will play a key role in building the capability of our teams through practical guidance, coaching, and clear ways of working.
In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers, Commercial Managers, and senior stakeholders to ensure projects are not only well-governed, but also well-understood, well-prepared, and effectively communicated. You will contribute to scaling PMO’s training, support, and coaching capability, helping teams succeed in project execution and decision forums such as Development Committee (DevCo).
While maintaining solid project management frameworks, your focus will be on translating governance into practical support that drives better business outcomes, stronger project narratives, and more consistent execution across atNorth.

Key responsibilities:
- Support Project Managers and Commercial Managers through coaching, guidance, and hands-on support in project preparation and execution
- Help teams prepare clear, structured, and credible project cases and presentations for decision-making forums (e.g., DevCo)
- Develop practical templates, guidance materials, and training content that supports consistent and scalable project execution across Development
- Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders, providing constructive challenge and improving the quality of project communication and business cases
- Translate PMO governance frameworks into clear, usable ways of working that add value to project teams
- Contribute to maintaining and improving project management processes across time, cost, scope, quality, and risk
- Support portfolio reporting and help turn project data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement in project management capability, with a focus on people, communication, and practical application
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in project management or PMO roles within engineering, data center, IT infrastructure, or similar environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and build trust across different roles and seniority levels
- Proven ability to coach, support, or develop Project Managers and/or Commercial Managers
- Good business judgment, with the ability to challenge constructively and improve the clarity and quality of project cases and presentations
- Solid understanding of project management fundamentals (time, cost, scope, quality, risk) and governance principles
- Ability to translate frameworks and governance into practical tools, guidance, and ways of working
- Experience developing training materials, templates, or learning content is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into clear insights and messages
- Fluency in English. Proficiency in Swedish is an advantage
