The Network Team is responsible for the design, implementation, and operation of global multi-cloud and IT network infrastructures. This role manages high-performance connectivity across GCP and Azure for our production SaaS, evaluates and troubleshoots external carrier-level internet performance, and supports internal IT network operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Multi-Cloud Engineering: Design and maintain production networking components in GCP and Azure.
  • External Connectivity & Performance: Measure and troubleshoot global internet and cloud provider performance.
  • Provider Relations: Interface with tier-1 network operators, ISP engineering teams, and cloud providers (GCP/Azure) to diagnose and resolve complex connectivity or performance issues.
  • Linux Networking: Troubleshoot network performance on Linux hosts using standard diagnostic tools.
  • Network Automation: Develop and maintain network configurations using Terraform. Build and maintain Python scripts for IPAM, performance monitoring, and task automation.
  • DevOps Integration: Apply CI/CD concepts and Git-based workflows to manage and deploy network changes.
  • Advanced Diagnostics: Perform deep-packet analysis and performance diagnostics to resolve latency or throughput issues across cloud, IT, and external transit paths.
  • Production Support: Provide Tier-3 support for cloud network issues, including customer connectivity and performance troubleshooting.
  • IT Network Operations: Manage internal IT infrastructure, including IPAM, WiFi (802.11), switching, and edge connectivity/security for corporate offices.

Your Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven history of supporting high-availability production environments and internal IT architectures.
  • Cloud Depth: Expertise in GCP and Azure networking stacks.
  • Linux Internals: Strong proficiency in Linux networking (sockets, netfilter, BPF) and diagnostic utilities (e.g., ss, iproute2, tcpdump).
  • Automation Toolkit: Proficiency with Python, Terraform, and Git.
  • Network Fundamentals: Advanced knowledge of BGP, TCP/IP, IPSec, Ethernet, and 802.11 standards.
  • Analytical Skills: Practical experience in end-to-end network troubleshooting, from the application socket to the global carrier backbone.
