Data Science and Analytics Specialist / Process Lead

Job Description:

• Proactively generate, plan, and execute data science and analytics projects (including classical AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, etc.) that create value from data.
• Review and analyze all company data to identify potential AI project opportunities.
• Conduct meetings with business units to identify AI project opportunities and propose solutions using LLMs (Large Language Models), Agentic AI, or classical machine learning tailored to these needs.
• Follow current literature related to the company’s business domains and propose up-to-date AI solutions (e.g., predictive modeling projects, optimization initiatives, revenue and efficiency enhancement solutions, automation projects, etc.).
• Prioritize AI projects based on business impact and feasibility and execute them end-to-end (from analysis to deployment and adoption).
• Research appropriate infrastructure solutions for AI projects; evaluate and support the implementation of the most suitable cloud or on-premises infrastructures for the company (e.g., vector databases, RAG architectures, etc.).
• Manage project lifecycle stages including discovery, data preparation, modeling, testing, deployment, scaling, and performance monitoring in line with MLOps/LLMOps principles.
• Ensure technical quality control in third-party consultancy processes and audit deliverables for compliance with company standards (ethical AI, data security, etc.).
• Ensure that all services within the responsible scope are delivered efficiently, uninterruptedly, and on time; work in coordination with infrastructure and security teams when required; and take all necessary measures to ensure continuity.
• Complete assigned tasks within projects on time and with high quality standards.
• Work in synergy, collaboration, and coordination with all business units in contact.
• Execute system-level authorization processes for responsible applications in accordance with approval workflows and requests.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 27701:2019, KVKK, GDPR, and other national and international data protection laws, standards, and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably Master’s) in Computer Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in classical AI, Generative AI, and Agentic AI.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale AI projects end-to-end and deploying them into production environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and the ML ecosystem (pandas, scikit-learn, preferably PyTorch/TensorFlow).
• Experience developing LLM-based solutions, RAG architectures, and Generative AI applications.
• Practical knowledge of Agentic AI frameworks.
• Strong understanding of MLOps / LLMOps processes.
• Knowledge of API development, microservice architecture, and basic DevOps concepts (CI/CD, Git).
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
• Knowledge of modern data architectures (lakehouse, data pipelines, data platforms).
• Experience developing AI solutions on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP); preferably experience building LLM-based and Agentic AI solutions on Azure AI Foundry or similar platforms.
• Ability to translate AI use cases into tangible business value.
• Ability to balance technical feasibility with business priorities.
• Experience in project prioritization and roadmap creation.
• Ability to communicate technical topics clearly and effectively to business units.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in AI governance, model performance monitoring, and cost optimization.
• Advanced English proficiency and advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.
