POSITION OVERVIEW

WNN Limited invites applications for the position of IT Specialist to join its Dubai Media City headquarters.

This is a pivotal, hands-on role for a highly capable and technically accomplished individual who will serve as the Company’s lead for digital systems, web infrastructure, and platform development. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, maintenance, performance, and ongoing optimisation of WNN Limited’s digital ecosystem, including its flagship platform DOTWNEWS.COM, associated web properties, hosting environments, and integrated digital services.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with editorial, design, and commercial teams, the role will focus on ensuring the stability, scalability, security, and continuous improvement of all digital platforms. This includes front-end and back-end development, CMS management, server and hosting oversight, performance optimisation, analytics implementation, and the integration of new tools, technologies, and automation workflows.

The position requires a multi-disciplinary IT professional with strong software development fundamentals, systems thinking, and experience managing digital infrastructure within a content-driven environment. The ideal candidate will be confident in implementing technical solutions, maintaining platform reliability, and supporting the evolution of digital products across web-based and emerging technologies.

IT-Specific Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance company websites and digital platforms

• Implement performance optimisation, SEO strategy, and technical improvements

• Manage domain registration and hosting infrastructure

• Monitor server performance and technical stability

• Implement new technologies, workflows, and automation solutions

• Ensure security, stability, and technical continuity of digital infrastructure

• Support third party client digital development projects

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive websites and digital interfaces

• Maintain and enhance DOTWNEWS.COM and associated digital properties

• Implement front-end and back-end development enhancements

• Manage CMS platforms, editorial publishing workflows, and content migration

• Optimise site performance, speed, SEO, and accessibility

• Build web analytics dashboards and performance reports

• Monitor analytics dashboards and prepare performance insights

• Implement conversion optimisation strategies

• Monitor visitor behaviour and recommend improvements

• Manage hosting environments, domain registration, and server performance

• Ensure website uptime, security, and operational continuity

• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility

• Conduct quality assurance testing and performance validation

• Identify and implement new tools, platforms, and automation technologies

• Assist with AI-enabled content workflows and multimedia production

• Support third party digital development and campaign projects

• Maintain documentation and technical continuity

Experience & Education (IT-Relevant Extracts)

• Degree in Computer Science, Multimedia, Digital Media, or related discipline

• Minimum 2 to 4 years experience in web development and multimedia production

• Strong SEO knowledge and optimisation experience

• Understanding of digital analytics and performance monitoring

• Experience with CMS platforms and editorial publishing systems

• Experience with responsive design and mobile optimisation

Technical Skills

• HTML5, CSS3, responsive design frameworks

• JavaScript and modern front-end libraries

• PHP, MySQL, or equivalent database technologies

• CMS platforms including WordPress or comparable systems

• SEO technical implementation

• Analytics platforms including Google Analytics or equivalent

• Hosting, domain management, and server environments

• Cross browser compatibility testing
