Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Position Title: AI Engineer

Contract: 2-year renewable contract

Location: Ras Al Khaimah

Job Purpose

The organization is seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to support the implementation, customization, and maintenance of Generative AI solutions across business use cases.

This role involves working closely with business and technical teams to deploy, integrate, and optimize LLM-based applications across CRM, ERP, and customer-facing systems. The AI Engineer will play a key role in delivering scalable, reliable, and business-impact-driven AI solutions.

Core Responsibilities

Model Integration & Application Development

• Integrate LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, LLaMA, Mistral) into enterprise workflows.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for grounded and contextual responses.
• Develop and maintain embedding pipelines for semantic search and knowledge retrieval.
• Build and expose APIs to integrate Generative AI capabilities with CRM, ERP, and internal systems.
• Support the implementation and configuration of AI platform-based solutions across business use cases.

Prompt Engineering & Solution Tuning

• Design and refine prompt templates for various business use cases.
• Continuously improve response quality using:
• Feedback loops
• Usage analytics
• Build reusable prompt libraries for different departments.

Deployment, Monitoring & Optimization

• Ensure scalable and secure deployment of Generative AI solutions in production.
• Monitor system performance, including:
• Latency
• Response quality
• Usage patterns
• Identify and mitigate issues such as:
• Hallucinations
• Prompt injection
• Bias in outputs
• Optimize for cost efficiency and performance.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with:
• Business teams (e.g., Sales, Customer Experience, Strategy)
• CRM/ERP teams
• External AI platform vendors
• Translate business requirements into practical AI solutions.
• Contribute to AI governance, security, and responsible AI practices.

Training & Support

• Provide training to business users on:
• Effective use of AI tools
• Interpreting AI-generated outputs
• Support ongoing enhancements and ad hoc AI-related requests.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Educational and Professional Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Hands-on experience or specialization in Generative AI, LLMs, or related technologies

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in AI/ML or software engineering roles

Core Technical Expertise

• Experience with:
• LangChain or similar frameworks
• REST APIs
• RAG pipelines
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
