About the job
This is a leading financial institution with a strong commitment to innovation. As part of its next phase of AI-led transformation, the organization is seeking to appoint a high-impact Agentic AI Platform Lead to build and scale a secure, enterprise-grade platform for autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents.
This is a strong opportunity to join a growing business, and to play a pivotal role in shaping how intelligent agents are deployed responsibly across the organisation including operations, risk, compliance, and internal productivity functions.
Responsibilities
You will lead the strategy, design, and implementation of the institution's Agentic AI Platform, responsible for enabling the development, orchestration, governance, and monitoring of AI agents across the enterprise. You will define the target architecture, platform roadmap, and operating model to support safe, scalable, and compliant deployment of agentic workflows.
You will partner closely with engineering, data science, cybersecurity, risk, compliance, and business teams to translate use cases into production-ready agent solutions. This includes establishing standards for agent frameworks, tool integration, memory and context management, model routing, prompt and policy controls, observability, and human-in-the-loop oversight.
You will also drive platform adoption by creating reusable components, developer guardrails, and best practices for agent design, testing, and lifecycle management. You will ensure the platform meets enterprise requirements for resilience, auditability, explainability, and data privacy, while continuously improving performance, cost efficiency, and business impact.
Requirements
We are looking for a senior AI platform or engineering leader with 10+ years of experience across software engineering, cloud architecture, and enterprise AI, including recent hands-on experience with LLM-based systems and agentic architectures.
Strong expertise in platform engineering, API orchestration, event-driven systems, and secure integration with enterprise applications is essential. Experience with model governance, AI risk controls, and regulatory requirements in financial services is highly preferred.
You should have proven experience building and scaling internal platforms, with the ability to balance innovation and control in a regulated environment. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are required, with the ability to engage both technical teams and senior business leaders.
