Position Title: Network Administrator II
Location: Robins AFB/Warner Robins, GA - Onsite
Clearance Requirements: Active DoD Secret Clearance (Required)
Position Status: Direct Hire/Full-time
Position Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Administrator II to support a large-scale, multi-year IT services program. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN environments, while supporting modernization initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for a network professional with strong Cisco expertise and hands-on troubleshooting experience to work on mission-critical systems in a dynamic, high-impact environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and optimize LAN/WAN network infrastructure and telecommunications systems
- Install, configure, and support network hardware, software, and cloud-based solutions
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity, routing, and switching issues
- Support network modernization projects and infrastructure upgrades
- Develop and maintain network diagrams and documentation
- Provide technical recommendations on system improvements, upgrades, and cost-effective solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and reliable network operations
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices
- Active DoD Secret Clearance (mandatory)
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in network administration or network engineering roles
- Strong knowledge of network technologies including routing, switching, TCP/IP, and access control
- Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS and Cisco-based network environments
- Experience with cloud networking and modern infrastructure concepts
- Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot network systems independently
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- CCNA or CCNP certification (required)
- IAT Level II certification (required)
- Experience supporting DoD or federal IT environments
- Familiarity with network security tools and compliance frameworks
- Experience with network monitoring and performance tools
- Schedule: Monday – Friday (occasional weekends as needed)
- Travel: Minimal (less than 10%)
