Senior Data Analyst

In this position, you will be working and collaborating with data scientists, backend engineers, researchers, product engineers and business teams in a cross-functional setting. Your core functions as a Senior Data Analyst are to interpret complex data, provide actionable insights to drive business decisions. Responsibilities include data collection, statistical analysis, and reporting, ensuring data integrity, and developing data-driven strategies

🛠 What You’ll Get Your Hands On

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, business teams and product managers to implement technical solutions that meet business needs and ensure robustness, scalability, and reliability.
• Analyze and interpret complex data sets using statistical techniques and provide stakeholder insights.
• Design and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Identify trends and patterns in complex data sets and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
• Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations for data-driven decision-making.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex business problems using data analysis.
• Participate in technical interviews to evaluate candidates' technical skills.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in predictive analytics, ensuring our capabilities remain competitive and cutting-edge.
• Point out areas of opportunity and guide teams in designing complex features. Mentor junior analysts and foster a collaborative development environment
  
  

🧙‍♂️ The Magic You Bring

• A bachelor's or master's degree in a related field, such as data science, computer science, statistics, or mathematics.
• At least 5 years of experience in product analysis and manipulation, preferably in a senior or lead role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or R, as well as experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract insights from complex and large data sets.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify and correct errors in data.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently, as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a diverse, cross-functional team.
  
  

✨ Bonus Points If You Have

• Demonstrated Causal analytics skills or full understanding of causality
• Good set of Data engineering skills or familiarity with data processing pipelines.
• Proven experience in food or parcel delivery services.
• Experience with modeling, analyzing, and explaining unit economics at the transaction level, and aggregate it reliably across time, cohorts, and dimensions.
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques, and experience in implementing predictive models.
