Solution Architect

Ciklum is looking for a Solution Architect to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

We are looking for an Architect to join our client's Architecture Team on a full-time basis. You will join a highly motivated team and will be working on a modern solution for leading european sportwear manufacturer in Brand Creation Tech area.

Responsibilities:

• Lead development team
• Lead and improve the decision-making process in design solution architecture, solution
• development, architecture and code review
• Back-end development to meet customer’s business needs and implement components
• according to modern software development environment (cloud-based platforms,
• microservice architecture, etc.)
• Develop and review feature design documents and provide inputs/update to
• specifications for the solution
• Design and implement a set of various types of tests (unit, integration, functional, etc)
• Proactive position in architecture preparation, solution development, processes
• improvements
• Working in an international distributed team in an Agile environment
• Communicate with DMs, engineers, Architects, QA and other colleagues and
• stakeholders
• Delivering the product roadmap and plannings
• To use high coding standards, software best practices and write highly testable,
• automatable and performant code over the whole SDLC

Requirements:

• Commercial experience in solution architecture design (more than 1 years):
• ability to influence senior client decision makers
• leading and supporting medium to large size solution delivery projects
• analysis of business, product and technology requirements
• business consulting and communication skills
• Experience in Pre-sales, Proposal/Bid preparation
• Excellent client facing, business consulting and communication skills
• Fluent English
• Experience in software development for more than 10 years
• Relevant experience in software development with Java (more than 5 years)
• Experience with guiding software development, testing, deployment and project
• management
• Excellent knowledge in Computer Science, Computing Theory:
• Paradigm & Principles
• Database theory
• Code testing practices
• Algorithms
• Architectural & Enterprise Patterns
• Design patterns
• Deployment patterns
• Security patterns, computer security and networking vulnerability
• Understanding of network interactions and protocols, conventions
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration
• Practical experience with:
• Highload systems (e.g. Telecom billing)
• Cloud technologies (AWS)
• Microservices and Serverless architecture
• RDBMS / NoSQL / Key-value storages
• Messaging systems
• CI/CD tools (e.g. Gitlab Pipeline, Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo)

Desirable:

• Certifications on:
• Architecture framework (SEI, TOGAF, etc.)
• Cloud providers
• Delivery processes (SAFe, Agile, etc)
