Overview of the role

The Node.js Junior Engineer position focuses on applying JavaScript and Node.js skills to build efficient server-side applications. This role involves developing APIs, working with server-side logic, and enhancing backend development capabilities while collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements, participating in code reviews to learn and maintain high-quality coding standards, and staying updated with new trends in Node.js and related technologies.

Key responsibilities

- Developing and maintaining Node.js applications, focusing on creating efficient back-end functionality.

- Working on integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic, collaborating with front-end developers.

- Troubleshooting and debugging applications, contributing to improving application performance.

- Participating in code reviews to learn and maintain high-quality coding standards.

Requirements

- Node.js Experience: 1+ year of hands-on experience with Node.js development.

- Programming Fundamentals: Good understanding of basic algorithms and data structures.

- Version Control: Basic knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.

- Problem-Solving: Ability to solve problems effectively and learn new technologies quickly.

- Language Proficiency: Advanced level of English is a plus.
