We are looking for an experienced Senior Front End Developer (Band 8a) to join our Clinical Application Development team within Digital Services. Our team designs and delivers innovative, secure and scalable software that directly supports clinical services across the Trust.

  • Mentor and support other developers through coaching, pair‑programming and knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines and support deployment processes in Azure.
  • Undertake detailed analysis of complex technical and business problems, proposing innovative and cost‑effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with Trust standards, legislative requirements, information governance, and software development best practice.
  • Support the Head of Development with long‑term planning, roadmap development and strategic technical decisions.
  • Take responsibility for accurate estimation of work, planning of development activities and managing your workload effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Act as Scrum Master when required, ensuring continuous delivery and adherence to agile processes.
