Golang Backend Engineer – Contract (Outside IR35)

£650–£700/day

We’re working with a fast-moving team building out a Golang backend function and they’re looking for a strong Backend Engineer with Go experience to come in and make an impact from day one.

This is a backend-focused role, working on scalable services in a modern cloud environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Building and scaling backend services using Golang
• Working within a cloud-based architecture (AWS)
• Collaborating with a wider engineering team to deliver high-quality, performant systems

Tech stack

• Go (Golang) – essential
• AWS
• React (nice to have, not required)

• Strong commercial experience with Golang
• Solid backend engineering fundamentals
• Experience working in cloud environments (AWS)
• Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced team
