Project Coordinator

About the role

We’re seeking a Project Coordinator to support a large-scale Windows 11 rollout for a major Queensland Government environment. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager to coordinate delivery activities, stakeholder communications, reporting, and change/training coordination.

Key Reasonability

• Support the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and day-to-day coordination of rollout activities.
• Coordinate project meetings (agendas, minutes, actions, follow-ups).
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships; assist with comms to business areas on progress, milestones, and impacts.
• Maintain project artefacts: project plan/schedule, RAID logs, decision log, status reporting, documentation.
• Assist with risk & issue management (identify, track, escalate, support mitigation).
• Support change management and training coordination to prepare end users for Windows 11.

Desirable Criteria

• Certificate/Diploma in Project Management (or related).
• Exposure to PRINCE2 and/or Agile delivery environments.
• Prior experience supporting enterprise desktop/endpoint uplift programs (Windows 10/11, SOE, Intune/MECM, app packaging, etc. advantageous).

Skills And Experience

• Demonstrated experience as a Project Coordinator / Project Support Officer / PMO Coordinator (or similar).
• Strong organisation and time management; able to juggle competing priorities.
• High-quality written and verbal communication (stakeholder updates, minutes, reporting).
• Solid capability using project tooling such as MS Project, Jira, Microsoft Planner (or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivery quality.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to inclusive, respectful culture.
