Junior Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to drive actionable insights and decision-making within the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI is essential. Experience in procurement or supply chain management is a strong advantage but not required.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, organize, and analyze data from various sources to support business decisions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive data reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI.
  • Perform data cleansing and validation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop and automate reporting processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Achieve reporting calendar KPI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical support.
  • Present key findings and actionable insights to stakeholders through clear and visually compelling reports and presentations.
  • Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets.
  • Support procurement and other departments by analyzing spend data, supplier performance, and contract compliance (if applicable).
  • Contribute to process improvement by identifying opportunities for automation and optimization of data-related tasks.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, macros, etc.).
  • Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with data query languages such as SQL.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (Ariba, Coupa, Esker) or procurement software.
  • Knowledge of other data visualization tools or analytical platforms (e.g., Tableau, Python).
