Profitability & Performance Analyst

We’re looking for a Profitability & Performance Analyst to design and lead a scalable profitability framework across multiple entities, including insurance and future integrations.

🎯 Your Mission

You will own and architect a robust, decision-oriented profitability model, enabling clear insights across products, customers, business lines, and entities—based on real data.

🔍 What You’ll Do

1. Scoping, Data & Governance

• Map and document key data sources (Finance, HR, operations)
• Gather and translate business requirements
• Assess data quality, availability, and gaps
• Define improvement actions with cross-functional teams
• Maintain a clear data & systems landscape

2. Profitability Model Design

• Build a standardized P&L structure across entities
• Define revenue drivers (recurring vs one-off, pricing, discounts, upsell)
• Develop cost models (payroll, non-payroll, cost-to-serve, direct vs shared)
• Establish clear allocation principles

3. Analytics & Insights

• Create multi-dimensional profitability views (product, customer, business line, entity)
• Identify profit pools, loss-making segments, and inefficiencies
• Perform root cause analysis and deliver actionable recommendations

4. Architecture & Scalability

• Transition from Excel-based analysis to scalable solutions
• Contribute to data architecture, KPI frameworks, and allocation engines
• Define automation roadmap with data & IT teams

5. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as a bridge between Finance, Business, HR, and IT
• Challenge assumptions and drive alignment
• Enable teams to use insights for decision-making
• Build reusable frameworks for future growth and integrations

🧠 What You Bring

Experience

• Strong background in profitability analysis, cost allocation, and performance modelling
• Experience in multi-entity environments
• Background in services, insurance, HR, or knowledge-based industries is a plus
• Dutch & French are an advantage

Skills

• Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking
• Advanced Excel and data modelling expertise
• Experience with BI tools or data warehouses is a plus
