🔒 Senior Security Engineer – Network & Firewall

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Security Engineer to safeguard a high-availability IT environment. You’ll design, operate, and continuously improve network security solutions while applying strict no‑downtime principles. If you love tackling complex network challenges and keeping systems safe, this is your playground! 🌐🛡️

What You’ll Do

• Operate and maintain Checkpoint, Checkpoint Maestro Hyperscale, and Palo Alto firewalls without downtime ⚡
• Lead and execute projects to enhance network security 🛠️
• Troubleshoot and resolve firewall issues in live production environments
• Build and maintain a firewall lab / test environment similar to production 🧪
• Resolve incidents involving adjacent network devices
• Design and implement security principles to protect against external threats 🚨

What You Bring

• 5+ years of network security experience
• Hands-on expertise with Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols, especially OSPF
• Solid understanding of Layer 2 / Layer 3 networking
• CCSA / CCSE certifications (CCSM / CCME are a plus) 🎓
• Experience with Linux and Windows servers in a networked environment
• Proven skills in maintaining and debugging network equipment
• Familiarity with Checkpoint R81.x / R82.x
• Strong written and verbal English communication
