We are looking for a Lead Architect who is not afraid to take ownership of complex systems and turn them into something clear, scalable, and well-structured. If you enjoy working across mobile, backend, and modern DevOps while shaping long-term direction, this could be a great fit.

Role Description

Lead Architect drives the technical vision, system architecture, and long- term scalability of Persona Entertainment’s AI Avatar platform. This role is ideal for someone who brings a blend of architectural expertise, hands-on development capability and modern mobile DevOps leadership. This is a full-time hybrid role based in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, allowing a combination of on-site collaboration and remote work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the E2E architecture across mobile apps, backend, AI integration, cloud, and future web extensions.

• Architect and guide React Native + Expo development across iOS and Android platforms.

• Lead CI/CD integration for automated builds, signing, testing, and distribution.

• Design scalable Firebase backend architecture.

• Own subscription and payment architecture using Apple App Store, Google Play Billing, and RevenueCat for unified entitlements.

• Integrate Stripe for web payments and subscription management.

• Ensure compliance with security best practices

• Define monitoring, observability, dashboards, and error-tracking for mobile, backend, and AI services.

• Work with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure architectural alignment.

• Maintain a long-term technical roadmap that supports scalable expansion.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• At least 5 year of experience in Architect role or equivalent

• Strong experience designing mobile-centric software architecture.

• Hands-on expertise in React Native, Expo, Firebase and multi-platform app releases.

• Experience with subscription platforms including RevenueCat, Apple IAP, Google Play Billing, and Stripe.

• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines

• Strong understanding of cloud authentication, security rules, and secure data flows.

• Ability to design scalable modular systems with clear documentation.

• Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration and architectural leadership.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills in English/Finnish

• Other languages are beneficial

• Experience from Startup is beneficial
