Civils Substation Project Manager – Hyperscale Data Centre – Finland

We are currently supporting a major hyperscale data centre and gigafactory programme in Finland and are looking to appoint an experienced Civils Substation Project Manager to support the delivery of critical grid infrastructure.

This role sits within a client-side / PMC environment, overseeing the civil scope of HV substations supporting a large-scale campus.

Role Overview

You will lead the civil delivery of HV substation infrastructure from early works through to energisation readiness, coordinating contractors and interfacing with electrical and utility teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage civil delivery of HV substation scope
• Oversee foundations, structures, cable routes, and duct banks
• Coordinate civils contractors and site delivery teams
• Interface with electrical, OEM and utility stakeholders
• Programme, quality and safety oversight
• Support commissioning and energisation readiness
• Report into client-side / PMC leadership team

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering substation civil works
• Background on HV infrastructure or grid connection projects
• Strong contractor management experience
• Experience within large-scale construction programmes
• Ability to coordinate multi-discipline teams
• Client-side or Tier 1 contractor background preferred

This is a key role supporting critical power infrastructure on a flagship European programme.
