Mission Overview

The DevOps Expert – CD Tools contributes to the design, administration, and continuous improvement of the SG Group’s central CI/CD ecosystem.

The mission focuses on the evolution, support, and optimization of ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, and XL‑Deploy tools, ensuring secure, reliable, and automated delivery pipelines at enterprise scale.

The engineer provides operational support, develops new features, and drives continuous improvement of deployment platforms.

The role also includes incident, change, and problem management, as well as the production of technical documentation.

All activities are performed in an Agile and cloud‑oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer, operate, and provide advanced technical support for ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, and XL‑Deploy deployment platforms
• Develop new features, enablers, automation scripts, and enhancements for the Continuous Delivery toolchain
• Manage incident, change, and problem processes related to CI/CD tools
• Produce and maintain technical documentation for users and technical teams
• Collaborate with teams operating cloud environments (Azure/AWS) and contribute to improving the technical foundation
• Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of deployment platforms

Required Skills

• Proven expertise in ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, and XL‑Deploy
• DevOps development/scripting skills: Shell, Perl, Python, PHP, Git, GitHub
• Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery tools and practices
• Strong knowledge of Docker containerization
• Experience with cloud environments: AWS and Azure
• Solid experience with Linux systems
• Ability to manage, troubleshoot, and enhance deployment tools in an enterprise context

Additional Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with large‑scale enterprise CI/CD environments
• Knowledge of automation tools (Ansible)
• Experience collaborating with Security and Cloud Engineering teams
• Ability to analyze complex delivery workflows and optimize deployment processes
• Capability to coach and mentor teams on Continuous Delivery best practices

Specific Requirements

• Role based at SG sites in Île‑de‑France, with 50% remote work
• Ability to manage multiple components of the CI/CD ecosystem
• Deliver expected technical artifacts and maintain up‑to‑date documentation
